kk.. I'm not to sure if I understood. But I'll try my best. I think your poem has to do with him hurting you, breaking your heart, and you loved him. You don't care if they are hurt because he hurt you, but then again you do, because you love him. umm.. You realize that there isn't only him in this world.. and you can smile and move on. But! you still love him?.. He wants you back. but you don't want to hurt him.. and you don't understand what love is... The rest of the poem was pretty confusing for me. But you did a good job!.. Its good to keep ppl guessing. Awesome job. I dunno if I got it. But thats my point of view for your poem.. Awesome. two thumbs up!

I think I get it. Is it during the time period of the BIG BREAK-UP and this is from Darien to Serena. I mean it does work. He speaks of love, and how he is killing Serena by not being with her and all that. I really like it either way. Awesome poem.

I'm not sure if I understand. Did someone rape someone else? And if so, is this poem from the rapist's point of view? Like I said, I'm not sure if I understand this, but I know I heard the word rape SOMEWHERE in this poem. My guess is that someone raped someone else, and now the person who raped the other person is wondering why the person they raped still loves them, and I think the person saying this is also wondering how they can love someone and hate them at the same time. Is that right? Your probably thinking 'what the heck is she talking about? ::sigh:: Maybe it's just me.

beautiful...i think, pardon my thought-train's derailing, that each person has two parts, maybe more...one part is not perfectly human, maybe not even them. We find solace in our acts to confirm our existance to ourselves and end up doing more damge than not beliveing in our capability. Regretable as it is our own minds, the part we consider ourselves blocks the emotion and thoughts that created our inner monster, so that we never have to accept what we are and continue damaging. Yet somewhere, on some level of consciousness, we are aware of it and the good inside us seeks to punish the bad for the sake of self imposed justice. It leaves us with feelings of longing and confusion. and..damn...i get why, and i've seen it, but i think i'm already wrong.
