As for dances, i go to a public school so this is the breakdown: We start school in mid august and end may 31st by the way Our homecoming dance is in november right after the homecoming football game, its the last game of the season and the week before we have games and rallies to get pumped for the game and then the dance which from like 8-11, people then go out to dinner afterwards then we have winter formal, which no one really goes to, it has a theme like black and white or something cheesy then the valentines day dance of course, but that's pretty lame too then there's MORP (prom spelled backwards) where the girls are supposed to ask the guys to the dance (but that doesnt ever happen) Finally is prom! which is the most amazing dance ever! the girls get together to get ready at someones house and then all the girls' dates come and take pics with them, the parents all come too, it's usually at a really nice hotel, then at prom you take professional photos with ur date or ur friends and everyone trades prom pics later, then you dance (8-12) and go out to dinner at like IHOP or Dennys nd thats it I just went to prom and it was amazing! | secretslinger chapter 13 . 5/7/2008 hey! i really love your story...and its cool that you are hooked to twlight! and to your question about dances... there are at least three main dances... homecoming in the beginning of the year, then the winter formal/ball in december or january and then prom the final dance for seniors... but in some schools i think juniors go to prom with seniors...and then their are a couple of dances in between! hope this information helps you. nikki |
