I'll confess it, I went to your FFN site and read your original (or...not so much, as it is fanfiction? Whatever. Semantics.) Illusoire. AMAZINGLY written, absolutely superior as far as fanfictions go, but I must say, I was disappointed by the ending. She dies? What? WHAT?

Since Tierney Teagan (sorta?) I hope you're not going to kill her off. And this is a stretch, but I'm guessing that the "two sequels" that you referred to in one of youA/N a few chapters back would be an extension off of the original Illu, right?

Tee is a hybrid right? witch mother shifter father and such a child is illegal? and sira is some kind of anciet shifter possibly very very powerful and Im guessing kai is teegans soulmate and Ill bet that results in extra power- magically that is and sira knows this. and Ave is possibly somehow related to Sira...like her great great manytimes great grandadughter maybe?

Okay, sorry. I had to log out yesterday and didn't complete my review. And since is FP is limiting to only one review to a chapter, I had to 'review' for ch. 6. So I didn't finish the chapter yesterday. (Though I only had maybe a few paragraphs left)

And since I check my email three times a day, I saw your response. Yah, my theories were in reality all wild guesses. I didn't dwell too much on them.

So anyways...

SOULMATES? Well...it was in the summary but still.

And thank you for the birthday wish! And yah, as for phoenixes, I can think of couple of novels and fanfics with them involved (some as shape-shifting) but nothing really is completely original these days. That's what makes a good story like yours so much easier to appreciate though.

And I don't mind Avery but of course, when she was nagging at Teagan for thanking Sira, I felt a bit annoyed. Then again, she doesn't know the whole truth so I can't really blame her. It was more like a minor irritation.

So does this world not have the internet? What kind of technologies does it have, or do they all rely on magic? (or for humans, libraries, etc.) That was bothering me for a while. I've kind of been wondering at the history. I mean, the Others weren't always part of the humans were they? As in, did the humans always know of the Others' existence?

WOW! That was really intense! Like seriously. This is seriously getting good. And i know i probably say that every chapter but i mean it because it somehow manages to keep getting better. Im glad we're finally getting to the bit about soulmates. There really is something in the way you describe him that draws you to Kai. If thats what you meant to do its working. I almost feel bad for Cian but it would never work, right? Cian's too.. normal/human.

Great chapter! Loved every word! Sorry I didn't review the previous chapter; I didn't have time when I read it, and then it escaped me. But thank you for the fast update. Why do you keep leaving us with these cliff-hangers? It's torturous! And YES! YES! YES! (No, that's not a shampoo commercial.) Soulmates! Finally, here we go. And the other plot line is really intriguing:) What with Sira and Avery and also Cian. Not bad, you have a lot of balls in the air here:)! My theory is that Sira is really old, but then maybe 18 years ago she had this kid without magical abilities, so she had to place the baby in with a human family, and now she's trying to look out for her. And the baby turns out to be Avery. Other than that, I would really like to learn more about Taegan and her mother. But most of all I want to see more with Kai!

What annoys me is that Taegan is always so cool-headed and in control. She controls every emotion before she lets it slip onto her face. She has always had to be careful and pretend to be someone she's not, so I understand it. But I just can't wait 'til circumstances and passion (hopefully Kai) makes her lose her cool.

Looking forward to the next chapter;)
