that cliff hanger was a meanie. i am like omg somethings going to happen then ah! brick wall. Anyways enough of the spazzy stuff. I really like how you accented the racism through out the piece. I havn't seen another peice on here written as explicitly as this before and it adds an interesting dynamic to your story. I also like the original side of how you deal with magical lore. you put your own spin on things and it worked out awesome. One thing that has irked me a little though is that you use a lot of adjectives...it almost seems like its to much. There are some places where there isn't need for them but putting them there weakens the sentence. for example really matter? the really doesn't need to be there. or already dwindeling. theres no need for already. and some over used phrases. its just a pet peeve of mine but i love what you have so far please update really soon you're killing me with this cliffy!

well i dont think you should have told us that but i did like the chapter. i wondering what's going to happen to teagan? I really hope you update...umm i cant say soon but i dont know i hope you update atleast this month the suspense is killing me and why is avery in danger. i guess i'll just have to find out i guess.

I'm feeling a little mournful, actually. Aren't Tea and Kai soulmates after all? That last para didn't seem like it (no pink haze, for one thing :P).

It's kind of surprising that Teagan slapped him. I've got used to thinking of her as someone with lots of control. She must have got used to keeping herself in check, with all the half-breed comments being thrown at her. Granted, this time, Kai was insulting her mother, but surely, some of the other Others must have sneered at her mother consorting with humans?

Anyway, I had reservations about reading this fic, since I'd read Illusoire over at FFN, before. Often, reworked fanfics don't fully feel "original", but I must say, you've done a fabulous job! :D

Remind to sue you, if there's no happy ending. ;)
