| Perfectly Paradox chapter 1 . 4/30/2008
Hmm... well, for starters, my favorite part of the entire piece is, "...you could bend the very fabric of my mind/ If you'd just look me through the eyes..." It's a very visual image. There are so many connotations with the phrase "fabric of my mind." I've always loved that phrase. I also like the masculine end-rhyme of connotation and contemplation and devastation. I was a little disappointed with the phrase, "This might be the beginning of the end..." just because I think it is overused and a little cliche. I think you are capable of being more original. I also wish the rhyming was more consistent, but there is a sense of unsurety with its jumpiness, which adds a bit to the theme of the poem.
