Well, it was just the beginning of them 'making up', so I think it wasn't rushed or anything; on the contrary, I'm quite relieved actually. :)I mean if they wanted this, who are you (just the author lol) to deny this to them?

You know, I'm actually glad they made up in this chapter. As much as I like Joni's bratty attitude (after all, it is Joni — where would he be without it?), I like that they both seemed to think the conversation was important enough to put their insecurities aside and discuss it like adults. And it's not like all their issues are resolved in one magical conversation anyway. The tension is still there, it just has the opportunity to be rooted in something real instead of a simple misunderstanding. So I call this character development.

Overall, I thought it lends hope that eventually Joni will assess all his options of people to date and realize that Misha is the one he loves ._.

If I were going to offer technical advice: those "15 minutes" look like they should be "fifteen minutes." I think we spell out all the numbers under 100 in fiction (but not journalism?)

I liked the golfing, by the way.

You know, now that I understand Finno-Russian relations (sort of), I appreciate this story so much more. So that's mostly a shift on my part, but I thought I'd say something about it.

I really like Joni's relationship with Katja. Normal, non-evil stepparents are a total rarity, and so its nice to see a shift away from the mainstream. She seems like such a nice lady.

(It's possible it's because she sounds like my mother. I live off cookies, and I can't count the number of times I've been told they're not real food.)

Misha is such a nice boy but so, so awkward.

I hope things work out for them soon ._.
