I liked Miles story. Even if the rhythm is sometimes a bit too fast. It feels like you wanted to share the story with us (for which I am grateful) but couldn't wait to describe the details. And I think that's why the story, which has the potential to be a great story, stays "only" a nice story. And why stopping there? I mean, humans cannot live without understanding each other, and it seems rather unbelievable to Miles and Lir to stay together without that comprehension (it doesn't mean that Lir has to speak). Another thing lays with the hints you left us about Miles "fame" at the beginning of the story. And the story with Rebecca.

I don't try to say that your story wasn't good. It was. But it left ways to improvments :-). Thanks for it anyway.

As for Alec's story. I wouldn't have put the two of them together like that. Good luck and thanks again for the sharing.

So ... i meant to review 7 chapters ago but by the time i got to the end of a chapter i was so anxious to read the next part that i kept forgetting. _ i love your story. I can't believe i just found it right now. It's beautifully written, intelligent, and just captivating. i even like your villain (liegera?) who turned out not to be a villain.
