Nice story! There was a time where I was left without a partner too. (Actually my partner wasn't there and we were doing the lab that day) Unfortunately I didn't listen to what was told to do, because I liked the teacher of course and I daydreamed, but I asked to be in another group and he told me that I could do it and that he will help me. I was too shy though to take that offer so I asked for another group again and he was too nice and gave me to another group lol
