You don't always separate your dialogue paragraphs by character and it can be confusing.

...Brody had looked over the main area and shrugged. "Shit, she was my ride," he grumbled.

It takes to the next paragraph to guess that the response would be coming from another person, so Brody didn't say it. It's like you are trying to create suspense about who said what. I didn't like that. I went against how things are normally written.

seem very comfortable with writing. Unlike lots of other people you are not afraid to write sentences that use a semicolon. Actually, you use lots of different punctuation people usually don't such as dashes and ellipses.

2. I agree with someones comment that, the changing of the percentage numbers added to the story.

3. Just want to write something to acknowledge I read the first chapter and to practice what kinds of things to say as comments. I am moving forward to chapter 2 now...
