Reviews for Letters to Mary McGraw
TwoBeats chapter 13 . 7/15/2008

I can't wait to see what happens next. This chapter is cute and hopeful, I love it. Also, I really like the flow of your short chapters. I think a lot of people write short chapters due to inexperience with description BUT I can tell that it's not about that with your story, and it's just your style. It's awesome.

Looking forward to another new chapter over here. Update soon!

oh you are so awesome

of course

i knew deep inside that you wouldn't kill him off that simply

no way

he's a fighter

and he'll fight

thankyou again, even though you had probably planned this the entire way through

leaving me to freak out by myself

can't wait for more

Subconscious-Flirt chapter 13 . 7/14/2008

I KNEW it.

I was thinking in the beginning...she can't do this. She's not cruel. It's not going to be him in the casket.

And it wasn't.

But you, know, just in case, I was going to write a review telling you I palced my non-death faith in the wrong author.

But I didn't.

Thanks for that.

funnechick chapter 13 . 7/14/2008
Oh my gosh...I was hoping for it so much, but I didn't want to get my hopes up and be let down if Mary and Mr. Waters did view James' body. I cannot possibly tell you how happy I am that they got the wrong man. YAY! I hope James is okay wherever he is, and it is the sweetest thing that he took his letters with him. I can't wait to read the next chapter!
kim2010 chapter 13 . 7/14/2008

usually, when i read your chapters, i just flitter through...

but for this one, it kinda stopped my heart (a little)

so i had to write a review...]]

i really like the pace that you're taking the story in, how it doesn't progress too fast or go really slow...

and your characters are well developed (well, i think mary is anyways)

this scene was kinda expected, but i still kinda had to guess the outcome...

great job and this story is definately one of my favorites.

keep it up!

I still love it! At this point, I don't think you can do anything that would make me dislike this story! Update soon!
OoohLookACat chapter 12 . 7/14/2008

if he dies...

well i might just cry

and then that candy bar would be finally useful!

or gasp

its good news

he's back

or he's coming back

i shouldn't set the standard...

just in case he's not

can't wait for more

love this story

AAH WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT. TELL ME IT'S NOT A SAD ENDING. Oh no :( Hahah, keep updating! I'll be waiting! Heh.
mk985 chapter 12 . 7/14/2008
The breakdown in the diner was very heartbreaking as was Mary's slow realization that maybe she will be OK (if not exactly the same as she was when she first started to write to James). Course that realization didn't last long with the cliffhanger you have left! I can only hope that it will be good and not bad news?

I think it great that you also sorta portrayed how the 2 other people who are arguably the closest to James - his father and Laura, reacted to both the news of the MIA status and how they supported Mary.

Keep it up!
funnechick chapter 12 . 7/13/2008
Man...I was feeling so badly for Mary in this chapter. Especially when she had that breakdown in the middle of the diner. But I am glad that she started going to see Mr. Waters again and that he's doing well now. Except I'm really anxious to find out the contents of that letter he handed to Mary.
