![]() ![]() ![]() again, very orignial. i read the summary and made the mistake of thinking it would closely relate to my piece 'Opposites of the Same'. It didn't. ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh long titles that say so much always catch my attention and the poem. wow wow WOW. [i can't seem to say much.] |
![]() ![]() ![]() this has deliciously fascinating lines i like the first two lines of the second stanza there is something abrupt and personal about it, it changes the whole tone of the poem. i always find comparisons to drugs so vivid and it always makes me wonder if that person has actually snorted cocaine or if many who read it have because i feel like the experience would be vastly more energetic than the thought |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh wow. This is certainly a favorite. Cheers, timshel |
![]() ![]() ![]() really like the overall idea of the entire poem... extended metaphor and i practically like the entire poem and all the lines but certain ones stood out "all pallid leftovers and bleach soaked/irises, you’re composed solely of denial and/something that burns like snorting cocaine." beautiful just... love your poem, really. fantastic job :] |
