![]() ![]() I never tire of rereading this story,it makes me laugh all over again:) |
![]() ![]() I love this story. It's fun to get back every few months to read it again. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lu cha... Doesn't that just mean stove tea? Whaaaa? |
![]() ![]() Hey, I don't know if anyone reads this anymore, but I figured, what the heck. I'll comment. I just want you to know I have been searching for this story for almost 2 years. I remember reading it in high school and it was just AMAZING. It was so hilarious to me. And it really inspired me to keep on writing, so I could make stories that were just as good. Today I write for my university newspaper and am a freelance writer on the side. So yeah, I just wanted to say, thanks. You rock. I'll never forget these stories :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This kind of story is not usually my cup of tea (pun intended), and I love tea. I prefer a more plot-driven story, and this did not have much of a plot until near the end. However, I kept with it because I _loved_ the writing style. I love the humor, vocabulary, description, characters... especially the characters. I probably identify most with Simon because of the way you built the story around him. I really like Vincent. I adore Raghupati. There is no one I wish you had left out. Isaac and Daniel (and maybe sometimes Philippe) made good villains. I thought it was wonderful that you rehabilitated Richard. One of the best parts for me was your inclusion of Chinese culture. Over on the fanfiction site, I pray someone will write about Harry Potter in China instead of ANOTHER forced marriage contract. (I have read about Harry in Mexico and in India and loved both of those.) I will probably head to Jungle Jim's (Google it!) to see if I can get some of the teas you mentioned! And I will start reading your other story as soon as I post this. Thank you for writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love It! Amazing story! Favorite Character is Luis and Raghupati ! Xian is awesome too! |
![]() ![]() AWSOME STORY!My fave charachter has to be Luis (though Simon and Raghupati tie for a close second XD) It was really funny and really well written too! I'd love to see a sequel, but even more, i think it would be cool to see what the charachters look like...too bad i can't help, my best drawings are stick-people XD but anyways, keep up the good work !D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I never thought I'd ever read the phrase 'If I'm too drunk to drive the tortoise' and I applaud you for coming up with it. Nay, I bow. As for my favorite character, Luis, of course! Witty characters are like a drug-one can't get enough, one can't stop reading. I'm almost annoyed that the story has come to a close. I suppose I'll just have to raid your other story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Im absolutley hooked on this story. I'm only on the first chapter but I can't wait to read more. I like the characters and the way you make them interact, It makes for really interesting reading! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Psychosomatic is my favourite word! But it is sadly under-used. :( |
![]() ![]() ![]() i would have to say my favourite character is Raghupati...although he's quickly becoming replaced with Xian! Luis is of course a brilliant creation. I definitely think this could merit a sequel. The humour is captivating, there are just a few spelling/grammar things here and there, but nothing really. I love it :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! I honestly loved this story. I really enjoy Fantasy/Humor, and your story (as well as the other I just read) perked me right up after a run of bad fantasy novels. I can't think of any constructive criticism right now, but I'd be a bad person to ask; I'm blinded by humor, as I -always- think it's great. Still, you are now one of my favorite authors. w I really want to congratulate you for Asian references -other- than Japanese. (What is it with the obsession with Japanese culture, and no remembrance of Chinese?) Also, I ordered some Lapsang Souchong because of all the references you made to it. Feel proud. -SapphireIris |
![]() ![]() This was a very enjoyable story. The characters are well-developed and very entertaining, and the only criticism I can offer is that in the middle the plot did drag a bit, as amusing as daily life at Chateau Tisane is. This portion also focused on the character development more, so it wasn't anything major. I just thought that I'd point that out for future reference, since you mentioned you would appreciate constructive criticism. Since you asked: my favorite character has to be Raghupati. _ I want a pet sea turtle now! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Your story is hilarious! It's well written as well. My favourite character(s) are definitely Luis and Qiang. I seriously hope you write more stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() haha. this story is just too delightful... love the characters to pieces! the tone reminds me slightly of diana w. jones, but not enough to sound derivative of it. |
