I am wondering about how many marbles does Luca have remaining, especially after the wall incident. The thing about Star I kind of understand. It is hard to feel real grief for someone that you don't know. It is hard for me to get riled up over disasters on the news the same way. My mom gets all spased about it, but it is like reading a story for me. I'm certain that the same would be felt about me if I died in some disaster. I am a cold one, aren't I.

Ah, it is a shame that the time is up with Morgan. I would have liked to have heard Luca go on some more.

First reviewer to this chapter lol! :D Anyway, on the tongue piercing, I can't find any assumptions on it other than it could have been something to do with Luca and Jenny. :S And yeah, I assume Luca's going more and more into the depths of a nutcase here from what I've seen. And sleeping naked is a freaky thing to do. tbh tho, I really wonder what the whole Mikey ghost will play in the plot. For some weird reasons, I think he's here because of what Luca could possibly be. And yeah, for some funny reasons, the final part on Luca and Morgan reminds me of the various social welfare scandals in the news. I think most of the news is in England. I don't know tbh. :S And yeah, glad to see you update again. Right now, I'm doing a new chapter of Seal of Valor. Oh bummer, from the end of this chapter, I think Jay's snapped. Pretty much justified everything Swallow said here. And I think his little talk with Luca may reveal more on his nature and powers in the future. He's an interesting character to say the least. I don't know if he's nuts or not, but imo he should be an interesting antagonist. :) And does the FAE chicks die after they gave birth. That's the question bugging my brain. :S tbh I don't know why, but it seems that more and more people here are getting into nutcase mode, not just Luca. Or to be more accurate, people from the FAE including Swallow. :S tbh I don't know why, but this story seems much more of a supernatural and angst story than a romance one to me. I know the centre of the romance, but for some weird reasons, the whole romance feel escaped me. :(

P.S: Yes! I've finally bought The Children of Hurin. :) I don't know if you've got it, but I recommend this one to you if you haven't read it yet. I've just gone through a few pages and the whole thing blew me away. :O Never knew that Tolkien can still dish out author pwnage even after he's dead for N years. :)

I feel awful for poor Jay. I do have to agree with Luca on this whole situation with Star's death. It seems crazy to let Star die like this when the hospital could have cut the baby out of her and both of them might have lived. All the same, what can Luca do about it all. He is an outsider to FAE and a mere teen. Still, it was a touching scene.

Jenny is right weird with the baby, but she is a weird child to start with. I don't think a girl would rightly call a baby an ugly shame . . . well, maybe Pigeon would, but where is Jenny's maternal instinct. Oh well, this seems to be her character. No complaints there really.

This seemed to be a rather good chapter. The hospital scene thing seems a bit off. I would think that the doctor would be concerned for the welfare of the mother, since she is not there and she's the one who was in the life threatening situation.

Oh well, weekly updates sound good, that is as long as I can convince the phone lines to stay in order. Hey, it had been good for about a year before last week. I have been trying to do weekly updates, but it just doesn't work out that way. I get waylaid with other things. I think it is my attention span or lack of.

wow. I don't think this chapter it offensive, but it's really real in terms of all the human emotion. They don't react like they should just how they do. Kind of like what swallow was saying, but it's still a little shocking.

On a side note, I kind of hate swallow.

Okay, I got to the other chapter. So, I guess you are heading into the climax of the story. So, if the next couple of chapters are gory, I take it that Star is going to give a messy birth and Luca will kill someone. I am ate up with that, aren't I? Wait till you get to that last chapter of Olivier . . . gore is on the mind.

I can see where Luca would be artistic, and I would have been surprised if he hadn't tried anything with Jenny. Ah, and don't most men have something of an Oedipal Complex. They are looking for mom in every woman they want. I could think about some freaky things dealing with Jen. Hey, she is a FAE after all.

The suggestion you make is that Luca is somehow keeping his mom alive through his singing, and Jay could kill her right now. Somehow, I think Luca's way is more cruel. His mom is a pathetic thing indeed. I feel more sorry for her being alive than if she was to die. And all it does to Luca is tear him up when he goes to see her.

Oh, and I completely understand his need to hide. I like to go places to be away from everyone. I am an anti-social bit.

I just knew that Luca would get blamed for that fire. Of course it isn't like Liam wasn't asking for it. So does this mean the next murder is going to be blamed on Luca? Maybe Liam will fall over with a knife in his back . . .

Ah, and the FAE organizatin. Yeah, that makes a bit of sense. Hey, I figured it stood for "Fly Away Everyone". You know how these things stand for something like that. After all, all the folk therein are named for birds. It is freaky that Luca and Jay are opposites.

I like this chapter. I feel like Jenny is starting to change Luca, and this scene was done really well. Can't wait for more.
