|Reviews for summer|
| A.C. Dittmar chapter 1 . 8/23/2008
I keep telling my husband that that's what we'll be doing at the end of this summer, when we're both headed to college. That is, taking our old summers with us.
He was only in one of my old summers, though, and the other people I care about won't be in my future ones, at least for the most part.
I like to tell him that we're not going to grow up and be overloaded with obligations. That we're going to take things one at a time and end up in the best of places simply for trying.
I really hope that I can keep us that way. I don't want to relate college with death.
Your poem was meaningful and filled with, oddly enough, hope. It strengthens my convictions to never settle for the ordinary and to save the world in the ways that I can. Thank you. You are magnificent.
