I really like Connor. I don't quite understand why he's a loner. He seems fairly friendly. The bit with Aubren agreeing to go on a date with Stepha is confusing. lol. I really like this so far. Off to read more.

Although I don't really like how Conner was so forward about falling in love with his kidnapper so quickly. I mean, it was like 'hey, you kidnapped me and didn't kill me! Let's fall in love!' Of course they don't love each other yet, but he totally put the idea out there multiple times... ohh whatever. This is still good. [:

I sort of feel like the detective is somehow related to the kidnapper. At first I thought it was him, which would explain why he wears the glasses, but now I'm thinking that he's the kidnapper's older brother... we'll see!
