Originally in "If" I was going to have them wind up together, live happily ever after, and have a million babies. But, as I was writing it, I had the weirdest urge to kill Mickey. :D So that's what I did, and it worked out better than if I had given them a Happily-ever-after. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.
