Very cute, funny, etc. Being a girl myself, I cannot say for sure whether or not Mark is masculine enough, but from what I know (which I admit, is not a lot) he seems quite convincable.

Haha, I was expecting the "it's actually my son." moment. For some reason, I just had a feeling it wasn't an abusive boyfriend, haha, though I did really think it at first. Mark is adorable, he's actually made me smile so much, so many "I'm gonna do this, and that and then this will happen." I love it.

Aw. This was so cute. :) I loved Mark as well. And the "roadkill to my highway" line was great. Other than that - I liked the way you wrote Mark. He seemed natural. (Although I'm a girl too, so can I be a judge of that?)

I was like "...huh?" when she mentioned that SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A BOYFRIEND, a-and (guilt) I kind of skipped a few lines to see JUST WHO WAS HER "abusive boyfriend" before coming back to reading them (guilt guilt guilt /guilt). IT WAS SO GOOD. It made me snort like whoa. (S-srsly, you can ask my mom.)

Okay, I don't know what it was about her, but Hannah totally creeped me out through the whole story. Seriously, and I can't even tell you why. Maybe it was all the talk about the psycho boyfriend who would come after Mark or something... but I kept getting these paranoid feelings that Hannah was the psycho killer and was going to break into a rage at any moment. And when she started laughing at the end, I though, "OH no, there she blows!" Am I way weird or something for thinking that? For real, I had those visions.

But I thought Mark was a pretty well-written character. It's fun writing male POVs. Nice work with this.

HAHA that was awesome! For some odd reason, I didn't expect the twist at ALL! You did it so well! I followed Mark's thoughts the entire time and didn't suspect a single thing. When I got to the twist, I was like 'wait... WHAT?' and I haven't gotten a reaction like that in awhile. I usually have suspicions y'know? So this was like 'BAM' in the face for me P Great job! :) Write more stuff like this, the guy perspective was interesting XD

Great one-shot. I really think this deserves a sequel, since Danny's character would probably be very funny. I really liked Mark too!

Ah, what can I say. It's an excellent piece of narrative, and the dialogue is smooth. To be perfectly honest, lately, there are only a few people on fictionpress that can actually do a third person narrative properly. You, at the risk of sounding a bit too praising, are one of them. First person novels are all fine and dandy, but, arg! There's only so nuch you can take. So, keep on writing. Your humor is refreshing.

Maybe you could write a novel and post it on here, eh? Heh.

I thought this was really hilarious! Mark is an awesome character - quirky, weird, very easy to relate to. I'm glad Hannah's not being abused. And I'm also glad Nathan's gonna get socked.

Oh this was seriously fun. And funny. I loved it, and the characters (haha Mark), and the story, and just... everything. I love love love this, and I'm jealous that woodstock1969 added this to our c2 before I had a chance to. Rawr. XD
