Awww I read the whole series this evening. Thought the violence was perturbing i was impressed by them both being able to make peace with the situation and wish the best for each other.

returned after several years to read again. barely made it through. again. cried all over myself. again. but i fell in love with your stories once again as well, and that's really all that matters. i hope you're happy 3

Great story. You should combine these two stories. There's so much that you could add to this story's family if you ever choose to do so. It was a great ride.

i find shikimi's sudden gentleness towards his wife was a bit out of character when he was always gruff and rough with miana. till the very end. not that he was never good to her but never outwardly gentle and loving.
why?

Awe, well shit. I've always been a sap for a happy ending, and though I don't know what I feel about this. Even if they loved each other, it wasn't real, yet it was. I felt that their relationship was wrong, but then again they we're good for each other. It's nice they finally moved on and such, but the little romance sap in me still wishes for an alternate ending where Shikimi had overheard that the child was his baby, so that he at least he had known about his first child. ;;

Oh, that's sort of sad-happy.
