Pretty sad, LOVED the end!

Sounds a little like 28 Days Later. I like that movie...Anyway, it was pretty good.

That was great. I'm confused though, won't she turn into a zombie too? She looked pretty beat-up when she came to Rhys' house, so wasn't she hurt also? This was a nice little one-shot. I like the touch of humor, and I love zombies in general. You hit a good chord with me. Nice job.

WOW! YES, this was terrific! For whatever odd reason, I love the prospect of waking up to a zombie infested world - it gives you so much fuel for the imagination! So you were already in my favor when I read the summary.

But you did a really excellent job with this! I love how calm Rhys seems to be about the entire walking-dead situation, how he has a mental list of problems that he counts, that he brushes his teeth amidst all of his problems. It adds a touch of humor and it works well.

And the end was really unexpected, at least for me.

I also like the original names you chose for your characters.

Great work! You got my vote for favorite. I just love zombies too much.
