| Smoky Bear chapter 1 . 10/26/2008
that's hypnotic. again some magnificent images, like pregnant clouds and 'the sky is a black backdrop with constellations expansive' the poem spirals on a metaphysical journey and feels hallucinogenic. it's very spectacular and clever in how it's so much more than just a collection of words and images. it's the epitaph of a dying summer, which in itself is greatly poetic. beautiful work, truly.

summer seems like an illusion itself
| she smolders chapter 1 . 7/29/2008
The last few lines make me think of the sadness I feel when I realize that summer is over. It's the end of July and it feels like that already.
I can relate with the feeling that "you've already written these words down before" a lot and the whole atmosphere of this piece is inspiring and beautiful in a way that makes me want to understand its meaning a little better. Take care.
