Enchanted Starrlite chapter 1 . 12/3/2008
I had to read this over a couple times because i thought there was an element that i was missing and i was right in thinking so - revenge. That is what i perceive from this poem especially because of this part - "Innocent's mass strangler". Although revenge is never mentioned outright it is hinted at so many times in so many clever ways. It is like the narrator has had an event in life that had done injustice of some sort. I liked that it was very mysterious and never explained the reasons of its desire of violence. And also, the part in the middle that begins with "Crashing fast atop your carcass . . ." is a nice way to reveil temptation, i liked the strange format, that made it more odd, which intensifies the poem. Good work!
