Reviews for Daddy's Little Girl |

![]() ![]() ![]() Creepy. Both versions. But well written. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, my god. The name made me fear it and I was really afraid of what this would contain, but in the end I really liked it, and it wasn't at all what I thought. I love it. |
![]() ![]() I am... confused. The first chapter just made me gasp in shock at the ending. Her husband is her dad? I understand that this is the revised version, but still. So... does she normally call him daddy? Or is that really her dad? But no, he died. Ugh, the confusion. That's how brilliant your work is. x) Haha. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think having both versions definitely help because we get a deeper sense of who Leah is and what exactly her history is (more in this version). Again, very dark, but it's definitely good writing. Her husband's kind of bipolarity is definitely interesting and also disturbing; I also like how you portrayed the pastor struggling to make amends for his past mistake. As I said before, awesome writing, as usual. Oh and I'm sure you've mentioned it somewhere, but why is Abide With Me AVM? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I haven't read the revised version yet, but after reading this, I can see how this is like Eidolon. It's just as dark, though I do wish we knew more about her. But I guess that's the point (the mystery, that is). Okay reading revised version now. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Whoa. That's very well written and deliciously disturbing. Yummy. -VintageReminder |
