oh my gosh, poor jess! i felt like crying for her, this chapter was so sad.

she waited for him and waited for him, and when he finally steps in again, it's just to crush her mounting hopes. heartbreak sucks.

i can't wait until the next chapter and i hope there's more kevin in it! hopefulle in the non-asshole version of kevin.

I adore this! It drew me in immediately and it cinched the deal when I started to feel like I identify with Jess a lot. I really like how you wrote this, not going into too much detail but not being too gungho and rushed, and completely forgetting about setting your scenes and developing your characters. I really enjoyed reading this, and I can't wait till your next update! :)

I really like the plot but it may help a teeny bit if it didn't sound like high school students. But it's a laugh to think adults do this sort of thing when other's eyes are closed. Imagine your teacher having a green glow-in-the-dark jello addiction and a secret crush on the bearded old janitor!
