OK, now that I've finally caught my breath, I have to say that that was a brilliant chapter.

Even though I followed both Thirty Days and House of Cards, I never felt compelled to review until now. I mean, this chapter was that good. A TOTAL one-eighty.

And Tehran is actually quite... something. I like him. He's all soft-spoken and polite and at the same time, inwardly an evil bastard. There's something charming about that.

I also like the way Layla keeps her personality and sense of humour even in the face of...well, Tehran. I like that she's actually strong enough to do that and not cower. You're faultlessly consistent with your characters, which is rare.

I read your chapter the day that you posted, but my phone's being mean and stopped letting me post reviews. So I had to wait until I could use the computer. I can't believe that she got kidnapped again. And won't them using sedatives on her harm the baby?

YES! Right on time! You honestly saying there's gonna be more twist? :-s You worry me, woman!

And.. seeing Layla go from a top notch successful boss to this is so depressing :(

that was insane! it took me 5 minutes to pick my jaw up off the ground and even longer to get my head around everything.. even now my minds something along the lines of "did he?.. and did she?.. was that?.. uncle?.." hehe that was hands down my favourite chapter from this series.

wow, powerful in peru right now, fun to read ometinh that isnt all europeish. i have one point to make in the sentence ’d reintroduced him to an intimacy long forgotten and shown him it was ok to open his heart. the owrd ok seems very lol. else, mean chapter, i really enjoyed reading it. i wonder if the bad guy will find out about the baby? that would be a problem...

Definitely one of the best so far. Girl, I'm getting obsessed.

I really loved reading the changes in Layla- especially of her pregnancy- and to see Keegan display so much emotion...ahh, did you know I almost cried in this chapter? Bet your super-talented writing skills you didn't.

If only I weren't straight I would marry you.

Also, this chapter was absolutely surprising. Love the twists you put in- gets me every time.

Still, with a cliffhanger like this I'll probably be half-dead with impatience by the time the next one arrives but a girl's gotta study.

Oh wow, you weren't kidding about the story taking a turn for the worse. When Tehran mentioned to Layla that they were in Columbia, I had a big inkling it had to do with Keegan's past. Lo and behold it had everything to do with Keegan. Wow what a way to extend the familial love there, Uncle Tehran.

You know there was a moment in the chapter- specifically when Keegan's head snaps hard to the right- that I thought oh no, is he dead? Of course right after that train of thought I knew it would not only be suicidal for you to kill Keegan off, but he would be killed way too early in the story. Oh and I am loving how you keep the old spunk that Layla has while still showing growth in her character. I think this baby will help fuel onto that growth. Poor Layla, she never has it easy does she? Well good luck with your accounting class but you know I don't object to you getting a head start on the next chapter... Kidding, school is important first and foremost. I guess till next time, when you torture us readers again.
