Great story, although other readers may not agree with me, I'm actually extremely happy about the ending. I personally like Jack, it made the story less cliche. Keep up the good work :)

Aww. Cole and Joss are just right for each other. Yeah I guess I'm being unfair on Jack about come on... Joss was being sort of mean by saying "I'm going" I know she engaged and kind of confused but she could have asked how he was. Well lets hope she gets nicer!

I just started the first chapter and it made me crack up:D I think I'm going to be spending the whole of tonight finishing this story. Its great so far.

I haven't reviewed anything for like, AGES (sorry, I'm lazy) but I suddenly felt like reviewing this.

I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE ENDED UP WITH JACK! I've always thought he's just going to be the "other guy", you know? But I guess not. I was really rooting for Cole. Oh, well.

But I understand you for making this end this way. I actually think you made this story more realistic because of that. Other writers would probably have made Jack have a sudden personality change and become abusive so that the girl would have a reason to break up with him and go live happily with Cole. But you didn't do it so yay, I applaud you for that.

So I started reading this yesterday and I have to say that I couldn't stop!

I personally love triangle situations because the drama they create (for fictional purposes) is just ... it opens up so many possibilities and can give the writer a lot of freedom and keep readers' guessing, which you certainly did.

Truth be told, I thought this was going to be pretty predictable, especially when Cole and Joss shared their "first kiss," which was, by the way, highly amusing.

But then you threw Jack in the mix and I found myself not being able to predict which way this story was going to go, which I absolutely loved. Even when the ending approached, I thought poor Jack was going to have his heart smashed when Cole came back into the picture.

In retrospect, I kind of preferred Cole over Jack, but I am satisfied with the ending you gave us. Yeah, it sucks that the first time Cole put his heart out on the line, he got rejected, but then again, he never gave Joss much reason to choose him. He was pretty awful to her for the most part and it was nice to have a story where the nice guy finished first, so thank you for that.

I really loved this story and enjoyed reading it! It had just the right amount of humor and drama and I'm glad I clicked on it. :D

Most gripping story I've ever read, honestly. Actually this is the first time I reviewed a story! :)

I loved the characters, especially how Cole's personality turned out in the very end. But I must disagree with one of the comments which said "Writing isn't to please other people". Yes, it IS to please the audience! A writer can only make sure his/her works are truly good, if he/she gets positive feedback. Most of the readers preferred Joss/Cole (just as myself), and the ending dissapointed, moreover fustrated them. Therefore we couldn't live through a catharsis which was a pity, because all the other things were surprisingly good. Or you shouldn't have made us love Cole so much! :D Cause this way you broke our heart and made us cry! :D I know you didn't want your story to be full of clichés - nobody wants, but you have to give people what they want sometimes.

Anyway, good story, thanks for sharing it with us! :)

Hm i enjoyed this, mainly the first part before Cole disappeared for 7 seven years, but i found the ending a little disappointing, well its not neccasarily what happend, but the way you wrote it and the fact that you didnt wrap things up with Cole. Although i realise that you acknowleged this in your final author note and are now editing this, so it might change. I also felt that you wrote this so that Cole would be the one we would fall in love with but then she didnt et with him, because i loved Jack, hes an amzing character but the fact that Cole was there from the beginning and the way the romance was reveaed at the beginning favoured Cole and so it was a bit of a letdown that she wasnt with him in the end. Also i was confused by the 7 seven year jump and while i realise that the change could not be written gradually, i feel that summing it up in one chapter didnt really work, and it didnt flow with the story and seemed to come out of nowhere. But i did again love all the characters, you have a great variety with characters like Melody and Sidney, i love how you dont stick to all similar people. Sorry for the mostly harsh review, if its any better i LOVED The Rabbit Hole and im still looking forward to the sequel. :)

Dang. The ending totally ruined a good story.
