I loved jack, and the ending was right. It couldn't have been Cole, he was too dark and mean, and just plain broken to make joss happy. Thanks for such an epic and moving story, the characters were beautifully crafted, can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed reading this.

Anywayyyy really really good story. Kinda reminds me of the 'My blood approves' series, with Jack and all. I mean they almost have the same personality, but then that might just be me?

great story! wish you had told whether she was pregnant or not though. When they mentioned pregnancy tests i was starting to think you were going to through a twist and have it be cole's or something lol

Woman. When someone starts reading a story, there's an unspoken contract. The reader gives you their time and devotion, and you give them a story. A nice story. A STORY WHERE THE GIRL ENDS UP WITH THE RIGHT GUY.
You just made my ovaries explode. What the hell, bro? Jack is so fucking annoying! And this poor child of God is clearly in love with Cole. And I could've lived with an unhappy ending - I could've lived with her forever pining after Cole and him painting her eternally, but did you at least make everyone suffer? No! This weird mix between a happy ending and a tragedy is not working out. I'm gonna go rewrite this in my head, now.

I loved this story, but this ending just...broke my heart. Poor Cole! :( I had really been hoping for him and Joss to have a happy ending together.

this story honestly makes me cry every time i read it. i remember the first time i read it a couple years ago, i was so upset that she didn't end up with cole. but now that i'm older and (i think) have a better grasp of adult relationships, this just seems so much more real. heartbreaking, but so real. i love this

I've never managed to finish a story online but my friend recommended you and I was instantly hooked. I personally loved the ending, you're an amazing and incredibly captivating story writer, I can't wait to read the sequel.

The story was good and adorable but I do have my problems with it. Up until part 2 Cole was the main focus, so we got to see all these heartfelt moments between them. They were relatable and had a connection through the story- it made me feel the story was about them. Still, that being said it would have been alright for them to not end up together.

However, the problem then lies with Jack. Jack was 'perfect' which meant we couldn't relate to him. Take Shakespeare's stories for example- the selling point is that the character has a weakness which we can see in ourselves. Then, with the whole 'perfect' thing, she never solved her insecurity problem with him. One of the pros for Cole was they were both stuffed up. In his argument with Cole, he said he couldn't trust her. That wasn't resolved either really. Still, while I say all this it is because I loved the story- like with my obsession with Sherlock Holmes- I yell at the screen because I love him. If I didn't care, I wouldn't read a huge story

Looovedddddd it! I simply adore this story. It made me tear up a bit, I must confess. When Jack was forgiving Joss. I loooved that scene! Anyways, I want to say that I liked Cole better, as did most people. But I think that Joss belonged with Jack. Jack is such a nice guy and Joss would have been a horrible person to just leave him. That said I am glad how the story ended. I thought it was perfect!
