I feel really bad for Cole. Getting rejected sucks, but I just know that Cole loves Joss, so there's no words to explain this rejection. I just love it when people get drunk because they let the truth come out along with real emotions.

I don't know why, but I love Jack. Now, I find him a clingy. Which is odd because we've all seen him for several chapters.

I feel really bad for Cole right now. He and Joss just had a moment in my mind and it was really sweet. The comment about his eyes were random, but I feel like it's important.

The locket was really sweet of Cole, he can be pretty caring when he wants to be. I feel equally bad for them because their families aren't too happy with each other.

So Cole does have a heart, he just has a small one. I got sort of creeped out at the motel scene, but it showed that Cole can be concerned.

I find that funny that Joss hasn't had fast food before. But the melted cheese doesn't sound so bad, except for the pickles.

I felt as shocked as Jack and Joss once they realized Cole was gone. Totally unexpected.

Jack is such a sweetheart. I swear, he's nice and funny. He can do hardwork and cook!

I like Jack because he's the boy next door type. Or a best friend boy.

Haha, I love Cole even if he is a jerk. I mean he's fun to read about. When things get awkward I laugh because it's funny, well this chapter had me ROFL. It was just way too funny.

Really enjoying the story, I sort of love arranged marriages even if they're old fashion. They just lead to hilarious moments.

Cole is quite different than how I imagined he would be. I knew he was probably going to jerk, but I didn't think he'd be this big of a jerk.

I seriously stayed up until two thirty in the morning reading a story only to love the badboy character who completely falls off the face of the earth at the end and gets no satisfying, complete, or even ending at all?

Yeah. That just happened.

Cole's story... hopefully will redeem- NO I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT JUST HAPPENED. TT_TT Jack was such a cookie cutter, man! Oh, "I couldn't stand to break his heart". What about Cole's heart? Jack's never gone through anything bad, whereas Cole had only gone through bad. Gotta say, it makes less sense to fuck up the one who was already fucked up MORE rather than corrupting the innocent character.

Sadness.

Utter sadness.

Also, psycho ranting. But it's 2:30 in the morning. AND THAT JUST HAPPENED.

I past this story over many time but finally decided to read it.. awww i loved this story! i actually cried doing a couple of chapters. She loves who she loves so i cant really blame her. its just sad tho. Who all know who she should have end up with ;). AMAZING STORY.

I have to agree with you, very lame ending but not because of who she ended up with, because of the way you ended it.

I think you should of maybe wrote about after wedding, recapped it quickly, now she's happy we get to see Jack's reaction to the fact she's pregnant, if in fact, she is, something like that. So we get closure. It wasn't much of an epilogue to be completely honest.

And it was kind of weird because you started off with the story mainly about Cole and Joss and I was under the impression Jack was a side fling or a bump in the "Cole & Joss" road. I think, from the part where you made Jacks and Joss's relationship really serious is where you fucked it up for the 'Cole and Joss' thing. It's just weird cause Cole and Joss were supposed to get together.

That's not to say I don't like J&J. I absolutely adore Jack, Cole too. But they're completely different people, incomparable in fact.

Look, I love the story, honestly and completely and I can't wait to start Rough Petals.

I LOVE JACK.

Oh ps. I thought Jack was going to end up with Addy. That'd be so cute!

From the author of The Rabbit Hole, Sleeping with the Enemy is a well-written story with biting sarcasm streaming from the narrator. There's nothing you can't love about this story! The characters, the plot, the chapter titles are all absolutely wonderful. Josslyn loathes going to Cole's summer mansion every summer, an agreement her parents have forced upon her in hopes of having them fall for each other. However, quite the opposite happened, and they hate each other. A love triangle sneaks its way into the plotline when Jack, one of the boys fixing up the backyard.

Wtf. I'm saying that in the nicest way possible. I respect you for going with what you wanted to write though! haha. It's just I wanted Cole :((((( But anyways besides that, great story! It made me stay and read the whole thing b/c it was so captivating...lol. Even though I really wanted to leave after the jump when Joss turned 25, but anyways good story. Just really unsatisfying ending.
