This is probably the gazillion time I've read this story, and I still love it, if for that line alone. (And plenty of other memorable quotes, i assure you.) But that lines always gets me. I actually even used it once, when speaking to a principal.

"So, kissing the kid was like tonguing Marie... but oh what a difference!"

You kidding me. I'm pretty partial to incest (I don't actively look for it, usually avoid it, but don't really care), but i think that line made me continue after The Reveal.

Ok This story is the BOMB! I swear it was hot and funny. And that last line was to die for. I loved your characters and wish that I could see more of them. I really liked your main character. I loved his whole description.

I can't believe it! I really, really can't! This... this was COMPLETELY up my alley. I mean, fucking JACKPOT'd. (Quite frankly, it sounds like something I'd write.) The half-but-competent incest (at first, when I realized The Kid wasn't Grimm's father, I was disappointed because, goddamnit, I was expecting incest), the "ya"s and elided present participle endings and the "fuckin'"s, which, might I say, are my personal favorites. "Fucking' almost never leaves my mouth, in any form. The redneckocity. Hahah. And that Grimm bro's got quite a mouth on him.

Just... ugh, I really liked the characters. It reminds me of a more extreme version of myself (because I CANNOT control my facial expressions very well at ALL) and a funnier version fa sho. Usually that first-person/sardonic/asshole role writer kids nowadays like so much is overplayed and hyperbolized and really damned unnecessary, but it was Goldilocks'd just right in this. And realistic! Grimm noticing all these ordinarily "unattractive" things about Michael - the Rosacea, his elbows, the hunt-'n'-search for fur.

This all calls for an emoticon.

Mitch is such a total, bona fide asshole. I LOVE it! And Michael being a sweetie (who, on top of eveything else, tackles guys to get some kisses, which is definitely the best kind of sweetie) balances him really well.
