great chapter. i can feel the tension building, and i'm really excited how it's going to continue and how everything will unfold

Whenever I read the name "Mr. Grey," I would start giggling to myself. But *sigh* Illias is a hot name. Just saying. :)

I'm happy that Illias is finally realizing that Alma is staying true to her word (that he will never touch her again) because he seems to always disregard a lot of what she says as childish nonsense. I don't like that he is always telling her to grow up and acting like he's better than her instead of truly listening.

But I still like them together. (:

Great story

I'm excited!~ GAH :D I do miss a bit of Illias and Alma time x) But at the same time I don't because I love it how it's teasing us; pushing them together and pulling them back before they touch XD Like magnets! (sigh) I really love this story (: It's refreshing :D

I got caught up today. SO so so sorry I haven't been around much.

I noticed a few things in the past chapters.

1. alma and illias seem to have a really unhealthy relationship but

a. alma is trying to be strong and stand up for herself

b. i still love illias

so this makes me wonder... I want them to be together, of coure, but not in the form they are in now, where they argue and there's this obvious power struggle. I don't know if I'm misreading your story, of course, but that's how I see it.

So then I dont know... I mean, I always thought they would be together. I mean, when I first started reading this story, I had no doubt that they would be together. Which is why it surprises me when I have doubts.

I could see their relationship evolving into a healthy one, but even then, there are the other barriers, like Alma not being immortal.

I wonder if there will be any twists up your sleeve regarding the "he's immortal but she's not" aspect. Will one of them change so that they can be together?

I like that Alma is growing a backbone and thinking of the future (even when Lillith tells her not to?), because I could see myself being the same way in her situation. It's realistic to stop and assess her situation and realize that it seems hopeless.

I just hope that it isn't ACTUALLY hopeless.

1) I'm sorry, but I think that you've made some typos-"boxes", not "boxed", "effect", not "affect".

2) I know that religions require faith, but I've always assumed that science only consists of cold, hard facts. Um, after reading this chapter, I realize that scientists need faith too, otherwise they can't think of hypotheses.

Yay, go Alma! I am ridiculously pleased that shes actually stood her ground and made him hurt a little. But will she hold up?

I sensed a change in this chapter, it seemed shorter, and perhaps a bit more fast paced, and generally didnt seem to follow the usual stucture of the chapters, but i liked, variety is good. :)

Alsso when i was re-reading it, i picked up on a few things but i've always wondered but kept forgetting to ask. One: I never really understood why Alma had to meet Ser, and why he didnt kill her or rather, use her when he did? Because, at the beginning, they were desperately trying to get away from his little henchman who were trying to get to her and they left Illias's house to get away from him and then i think it was Iesael who said 'he'll want to meet her' which really ocnfused me. I know that seems like a major point and i honestly dont know why i've never bought it up before.

And i've now completely forgot the next point which is soo annoying as it was a burning question...Yay i just remembered! I dont understand why Cillian is so condescending to humans, and says he wouldnt risk his life for one, and that he doesnt like Illias being with Alma, when he himself is with Lilith..who is human.

Looking forward to the next one! :D
