your story really touched me. and i look forward to reading more of yours, maybe sometime even in book-format! i hate it when you read a story you really love and then its over. so, the best way to tell you what i thought about "the folly" is to tell you that i feel sad that it's over! i can't even explain how truly jealous i am of your writing skills. i am awed by it. so never stop writing! all the best

Reviewing on this chapter because I had to reread this chapter and the last two over and over again before everything finally made sense. I wish I could have read this from first to last all in one go so I could appreciate how everything comes full circle and ties together. Maybe I'll give it another go at some point.

I think this was a very well thought out appropriate way to end the story, taking us back to that very important point in time for Alma, well one of them. I'm so happy that it's completed. And that you never gave up. :3

I wept reading the ending...so heart wrenching, profound, and yet amazingly hopeful. The way Alma's father spoke of the human condition was incredibly beautiful and so very true. You should be immensely proud of yourself for producing such a fine piece of writing. I feel like I've been improved somehow as a human being by having read this. THANK YOU:))

Sorry, some bad phrasing there in my previous review - I've read it from the beginning, but only found it when you were at chapter 15 or so when writing it...sorry 'bout the mix up. My bad.:)

I've been with this story since about chapter 15... and I've absolutely loved it. I think I've experienced every emotion possible whilst reading it! Seriously, I don't think I've enjoyed a story more. It's been the novel I've been looking for for so long! I was so fed up of the whole vampire/werewolf BS...and then this appeared and I fell in love with it.

Your writing is wonderful. Descriptions brilliant. I love the way it wasn't been a bundle of fun and mushy romance crap, it's been dirty, bloody, and gritty, but absolutely worth it. I adore the characters, the good, bad and the ugly, with all their flaws, imperfections and quirks, it makes them so much more real and vivid. To be honest, they're beginning feel like family now after so long! You should look into getting it published, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

It remains then, simply, to say thank you. Thank you so very much for writing this, it's been an absolute pleasure to travel along with your writing and the characters. I'm not going to lie, I'm going too miss them!:)

I can go on and write a super long review praising how great this story is and about how much I love your characters and plot and writing style but truly I don't think words can give you your right :) I can just say that this is the best story I have ever read (very addictive too) and thank you so much for sharing it with us :)

As much as I'm dying for you to update, I am also dreading it because then that would mean Follies is finally over after four years. I will miss these characters so dearly. I've loved and hated them and it'll be weird not waiting for another update from this story once it's officially over. Illias and Alma will always have a special place in my heart. I could never let these two go and it's so heart wrenchingly sweet that they get to have the happy ending they needed.

Gosh, just thank you so much for writing this. I've learned a lot from these words and these characters and I'll never forget all that they've taught me. This story has made me laugh, cry, and groan in frustration. It will forever be my favorite novel.

Devoured this in one night and stayed up way too late because of it. Just amazing.
