Yay! We found out what was in the box. Ilias is starting seem even more of a jerk. I feel sorry for Alma that she has to stay in the same house as him.

Stories with rape annoy me. I really liked this story and will continue to read it but I hate it when authors add rape into their story. The way it was going, he could have easily gotten her to have sex with him willingly and then for drama he could be a d*ck afterwards or something. I also don't like it when the girl forgives the guy that raped her. Disgusting. Seriously.

I kind of see where Alma's coming from- but it's so frustrating when she cries!

But i guess it's just a human reaction to the turmoil around her and without those life is meaningless.

I just found it and have read all 18 chapters in one go - because I had no choice. I love it! Your characters are very well written and your description is excellent. You convey their emotions so well it feels like I'm in the room with them as it happens. And now that I'm addicted, it's all I can do to sit and wait for the next chapter!

I have to agree with Hannah C. Thaw about this chapter. Your writing is excellent but I can't believe Alma just sat there when Illias raped her and then she keeps going back to him and talking to him as if none of it happened. This chapter was very emotionally intense but I'm not sure how I felt about it overall.

This was very very very frustrating to read. You said he feels these emotions for a specific reason? I can't imagine why. I am frustrated with Alma. She never did react to him throwing out her things or raping her. She is just sitting back and taking it all. I wish she was stronger. How can she get back in bed with him? She is one of the abused spouses that refuses to leave the abuser. I feel like she is a masochist. She certainly seems to enjoy being humiliated and hurt.

Ilias. Im sorry, I don't know what you are going to do to "redeem" him. But rape is crossing a line. He can't go back to being a good guy.

It suddenly came to me in the middle of class today that I hadn't reviewed so I wrote it on my hand and came home and reread it and here I am to annoy you once more...:D

First things first...arghh I knew it was all gonna crumble around them just as things were beginning to spice up in the apartment...damnation! (I've always wanted to say/write that) Stupid Ser destroying everything...Grr. Thugh of course I am soo very intruiged by what's in that box...a lot of the stories I'm reading lately seem to have boxes in them...and they never tell you what's in it. Well I guess you kind of did "The beginning of the end" for Alma...but that soo doesn't count...so yeh as you can see I can't wait for the next chapter :D

Ooh GO Illias! Illias and Alma up a tree... But ahh what's wrong with Alma..? I think she should tell him she's a virgin..does he already know? And YES the condoms made a nice enterance, I so didn't think it would happen like that. He'd have probably never even known about them if she hadn't have said...but yay for Alma and her big mouth.

And Illias is jealous of Warren...still. Idiot man..demon..thing. But it's so cute..in a very masculine way of course :D
