|Reviews for learning to fall apart|
| a silenced revolution chapter 1 . 8/24/2008
hey, it's perpetual questions. i've changed my pen name, it seems.
i think so many people can relate to the feeling of being "the weed who dreams of changing the world".
have fun in india. look foward to reading you when you have something new.
| Carys Miles chapter 1 . 8/21/2008
Some cool images and imagery.
The whole bit about the weed was well done, as was the we could be dreamers, rock music babes...
The rest is vague. I think this poem could be awesome with some specifics, like how are you cut, why are you oppressed.
Stuff like waving at summer and dreams catching hair-to vague for me to sympathize with the deep emotion you're hinting at!
Also the title doesn't seem to fit the poem: you're not learning how to fall apart, here, you KNOW how to fall apart, you're lamenting the "Could Have Been" (which is very cool).
The last two lines are killer.
| Isca chapter 1 . 8/21/2008
"The ghost of oppression." Incredible line!
The final lines are riddled with angst, and make the poem that much more intense and powerful.
