I love the descriptions of Asia and Kajare's appearance. The magic concept that you have for this story is pretty interesting. I was particularly intrigued by the fact that skin colour indicated the strength of ones magic.

The ending was nice. I like this part, "... we can have lunch and then we shall go and buy you some proper clothing. Enough to last you for at least a couple centuries...provided I don't tear them off you in my impatience."

I like Asia's initial submissive behaviour prior to their knowledge that he was Kajare's familiar. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.

cute start. kinda slow at one part with the long descriptions of the tower, but other than that good pacing and likable characters. thanks for sharing!

:3 yes Kajare feed your uke . honestly i was a little confused in the begining cause something in the description gave me the idea Asia was an Angel or some creature of flight XD sory but i read this late at night so my brain wasn't at it's best for descriptions ;) But my confusion cleared up this morning when i looked again. Really i think you could also take this farther an make and etire story to it since you obviously have the rough draft of characters pasts and a outline for the plot if it wants to be. but also on the flip side you have a action packed exciting and loving story that makes a great One-shot . all ddepends on your goals i guess . i see when i look back at most of my shorts the start of a more complex plot XD

I honestly can't remember how many times I have read this story. The reason I came back this time was because I was looking through the Fantasy section and I saw the sequel there. I figured that I should probably review, considering how much I like this story. )
