amazing amazing AMAZING

Hey! I absolutely adored your story and I got the chance to review it! So it's now a part of ADoR, under our one-shot category :D Here's your review:

Rosie Thinks: I'm not going to lie to you - if a guy came up behind me in a cafe and told me the answer to the crossword I was working on, I would run screaming for the woods. Luckily, this didn't happen to me and this one-shot isn't about how the MC got so freaked out she never left the house again (ergo, she's not me). Instead, Mad for Figs takes a completely unique and freaky situation, and turns it into something magical (as per usual). Seriously, within the first segment, I went from 'omg he's scary' to 'awww ok that's kind of cute', and my feelings just progressed into cuteness from there.

I really did enjoy the uniqueness of this story. It's not long, but makes for a nice interlude between heavier reads. The only mistake I saw was 'weary' instead of 'wary' (I'm sorry, it's one of my pet hates!) but other than that, there were no errors to break up the flow. So all in all, 'Crosswords' tells the tale of what happens when you look outside your small, comfortable circle and take notice of what's right in front of your nose.

Haha. Another first of 2014. I really like this nke too. It's a very original oneshot. It's an idea few would think of, but that you rolled with very well

What i really don't understand is, if he liked her so much, why didn't he made the first move instead of "looking at her from afar, waiting patiently for her to notice him?"

Wow i can't believe how oblivious she's been to his existance. Hope you can make a sequel to this story. I really liked it. Usually its the popular one who is oblivious to one's existence but this story is the other eay around. Lol

This is kind of eerie, because something like this is happening in my life. I really empathize with Emily because I've been hearing the same from my friends (that I am blind etc) and I have been wondering about the same. The ending won't apply to this story of mine - at least I think so :)

I'd read this oneshot before - it's amazing :) Excellent work, especially the characterization.
