Very cool world here. I love the idea of Sadist Empire (though I don't know if it would be that bad. Most of de Sade's writings were political satire, such as 120 Days of Sodom), William Blake being prime minister, Tupac Amaru leading an Incan rebellion, the Turks discovering the Mountains of Madness, and all the other coolness. I can't wait to check out the main story!

Eastern European sociopaths and the French, figures. Works perfectly for what it is trying to accomplish. Kdh.

This is pretty cool. I especially like the Gurkhas, who are often neglected by history. However, British troops tended to be superior across during that time period.
If you're taking suggestions, I recommend the Totenkopf (the Prussian Hussars, not the Nazi unit), the Swiss Guards, and Turkish mechanical troops (ever hear of a guy named Taqi al-Din in the 16th century?)
