This is very good. I started out thinking I only had time to read a little out of curiosity. But the first chapter so hooked me that I finished all five. You handled the two male character well, but I'd like to see you bring in a girl. I think your talent could really do something with the male/female dynamic.

Excellent story so far! I love it! Out of curiousity, what exactly is Sylvian? From the way you describe him, I'd have to describe him as some sort of werebird who has developed a taste for flesh or something.

(Werebird Werewolf, Werewolves can transform into wolves wereas Werebirds transform into birds. Of course Sylvian could always be halfbreed.. half human/half werebird. This would seem more likely.. unless you have something more in store for Sylvian. I say a halfbreed, because they can turn either way. Halfbreeds either shapeshift fully between two shapes, or are only capable of shapeshifting only halfway, which can make them look like some sort of freak or something.

I would love so much to be your beta, however I don't have an account with fictionpress, I just like to read the stories here. Though I am a writer of sorts, nothing of mine has ever seen the light of day. My stuff just sits in this new computer collecting dust.
