Edwin constantly makes me smile; he seems like such a NICE ghost. I thought it was specially sweet when he whsipered good luck (I assume that was him) and I dunno why but I loved the fact that you wrote

"Edwin smiled at me shyly from the chair"

This just seemed lovely to me. I can just picture it!

*sigh* you should pick out actors or something to represent your characters. Cos I wanna see what Edwin should look like.

Oh! I'm glad you explained it- the reason she doesn't fake being "better". I think it puts a fresh look on things, most stories have the people hide it or whatever. By the way, how can she tell the ghosts apart from people?

guess what? this chapter had me (in my head) talking to Ava.. telling her seeing ghosts was OK... oh yeah, weird huh? just tells how good a writer you are to convince my mind the story's real.
