I just found your story, and couldn't stop reading it. I want to know more about the squabble between parents...and can't we expose Lori...I HATE HIM! Also, is Errol going to be redeemed at all? I mean he has to make right leaving a girl behind, with a child to boot. I will like him a lot less if his newfound morality does not convict him to make past wrongs right again. Seriously amazing dialog, and you attention to historical details, makes my heard sing, usually I can't find a good read like Jane Austen in modern works...thank you for writing a book I can truly enjoy. Oh and...so cool, without any smut...i like a good clean read. So can't wait for updates...but as I am a writer as well, I won't pressure you for them.

You totally made my day... or possibly my week. I love this story so much, and any amount of chapter I get makes me happy! Loved it, and it breaks my heart they aren't together and Lori is such a pain in the ass!

This chapter reminded me of "Jane Eyre" when Jane left Mr. Rochester after finding out that he was already married. Pretty interesting chapter.

In terms of grammatical mistakes, I found one. In the sentence

"She said that she couldn’t bare it here," "bare" should be "bear". Just a minor mistake.

I really REALLY hate Lori now. But I'm glad Asher helped Willa escape...it made it so much more fun! :)

Wow...well, is Lori going to get any type of backlash for exposing what he did? And I still can't believe Errol got that girl pregnant and then left. I wonder though if there's more to the story than we know or if it is just cut-and-dry.

Well, I don't know what's going to happen to any of these characters now...I'm anxious to see what you have in store for them next.

Oh, I just had a thought. One of the reasons Lori did what he did was so that he could hinder the thing he saw growing stronger between Willa and Errol, right? Now, it has kind of backfired on him though...Willa's is gone and farther from his reach than even before.

omg yes, i can't stand Lori, the self serving punk that he is? when is he going to leave the building and their lives forever? I look forward to it!

I feel like I should hate Lori. I know it. I know it. I should hate him. But I don't.

And I'm clueless as to why. Maybe because it was true? I have a weakness to the truth. I'll be one of those parents who'll say, "If you do anything wrong, just tell the truth, I won't be mad" and actually mean it.

I feel sad now. How melancholic.

I like bad boys who are redeemable too...but Errol seems to have no remorse! And Lori is EVIL EVIL EVIL! I did like the scene between Emma and Willa though...young love is so sweet. :)

Strangely enough I haven't yet decided what to make of Lori. I guess in my mind I see him confusing an older brotherly type of affection he holds for Willa as something more. This then leads him to discredit Errol to keep him away but he is at the same time trying to protect her in some way. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

Is it just me, or do you want to smash Lori's face in? What an asshole! Jealousy is one thing, but that's just too mean for words! I NEED to know what happens next - I've been reading this from start til now all this evening! Please continue soon!

Tut tut, naughty Errol! I actually gasped when I read the part about him sleeping with a girl and getting her pregnant. (Very Willoughby, as you say - but is it strange that a little part of me has always liked Willoughby, depite the fact he's a royal tosser? Errol is far MORE likeable, though.)
