![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent chapter...Mr. Lori is trying a bit hard, is he not? Anyway, I love the story, as always, so update soon! I'm so excited to read more, you have no idea! :P |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really getting into this. I think you have a good grasp of pacing and I'm definitely interested to see where it all leads. Can I second the call, though, that this not be a "every boy falls madly in love with the heroine" story? Unless Willa has a love potion, lovely as she is, it doesn't seem very realistic. But I think this is very solid so far. I absolutely *loved* the conversation she has with Errol in this chapter at the end. Willa has some very snappy comebacks, and that was one of her best. Keep up the good work :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good chapter. Just be careful how many people actually end up liking Willa. If every male character does, it gets to be a little boring. Competition between two males is good, but between about more than that? Meh. That just seems a bit redundant, and a bit unrealistic. Hopefully that makes sense. Lol. Just make maybe one character like Willa in a sorta brotherly way, who goes to her when she's troubled. That might be good. But, I did like the chapter :) Keep it up and update soon. Faith |
![]() ![]() ![]() I completely loved this chapter. Willa's attitude and opinions are so entertaining. Keep up the hard work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter, I can speculate that the juice is being made. I enjoy reading this story :] I love novels referenced to the past. Keep up the great work! ;D |
![]() ![]() ![]() my goodness so many men, ure right idk who shes ending up with haha |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love it! I really want to see Errol and Willa together |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very awesome chapter. :) does complicate things, does he not? And I liked the horse metaphor...excellently executed. :) I also enjoyed the back and forth between Willa and Errol...very nice job. Update soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay, another wonderful update. :) I love the way people talked back then, if only we could go back in time. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked this, although I was surprised at Willa's jab to Abigail. Normally someone who was supposed to be sort of a "maid", even if she wasn't considered one by the family, still wouldn't disrespect a member of the family she was a maid to like that. Hope that makes sense. Hah. One little thing, you have Sir Charles greet Errol, and then Errol disappears. Where does he go? Cause I'm sure Sir Charles wouldn't talk about him with Willa like he had if Errol was in the room. Just remember to put something in there if you go back and edit. Other than that, it was good. Keep it up and update soon! Faith |
![]() ![]() ![]() Emma and Abigail remind me of Cinderella's stepsisters. Oh, I hope Errol hasn't completely changed from the young man he was before. Because of your profile I was a little surprised to find cursing in your writing, but while I personally don't like it, I guess it is realistic since he is drunk. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed though that he turns out alright. :) And I like Willa.:) I usually enjoy Regency pieces and I look forward to reading more of this. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah. I love this story. I'm very interested to see where it goes. keep up the good work! : D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Although I considered this to be somewhat of a filler chapter, in that there weren't any major dramatic happenings, not that the occurrences present don't allude to some major plot issues. Despite this i still found this chapter to be quite a hook. I especially loved the banter between Lori and Willa. I think it was inspired. You've done very well to remain in keeping with issues and ideas circa the mid to late 18th century. Summarily, from me, it's compliments all round. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very nice. It's all-over Austen (That's a good thing-very good). I like Willa's character. It does remind me a lot of Mansfield Park, but the one thing that bugged me about Mansfield Park is that Fanny lets herself be walkd all over. Willa has much more backbone, which makes for a more pleasant read. I love the historical literature references, and all the "proper" titles for everyone. Can't wait to see what's up with Errol, and where all this will lead! |
