Well...she's certainly not thinking of Matt in a big brother type of way, but I'm sure that's how he thinks of her. I really like their friendly banterings but I do hope that there's some actual romance between Shelly and a guy in this story...whether or not that includes Matt. The rest of the chapter was really good but there were a few typos throughout so you might want to go back over it and proofread. Oh, and longer chapters are awesome!

Hm... Why would Travis pick a new girlfriend called Rochelle too? Is that a hint? Haha.

Ugh...I'm thinking I no longer like Travis. How could he break up with his girlfriend and already be moved on to someone else? And a girl with the same name? That all seems a little fickle to me. But anyway, I like Manny; he's pretty cool. And Cody, as always, is really sweet and a good friend. And it's interesting that Shelly felt so bad after not playing the guitar when it was offered to her. I hope she decides differently if she's ever asked again.

I didn't read your first story, so I don't know if Shelly is different in this one, but I love this. Just thought I'd say that. But why does everyone look at her when Miguel shouts that he wants to play next? I was a little confused cause there's no reason anyone should be looking at her. In fact, they should have looked at Miguel. Thought I'd point that out in case it was a mistake.

I like what you're writing so far. Not gonna lie, I thought Cody was going to turn out gay and be bf/bf with Neil. Haha. Sorry if that offends you. I just picture him really scrawny and such. But the story overall is great. It's nice to see a fic that the main character isn't your average "oh I'm so beautiful" or "I'm so ugly even though I'm secretly a supermodel." It's all about the beauty on the inside, and I think this story will have that.
