I can relate to almost everything in it and it really hit me emotionally. This story was so touching I actually cried during parts of it xD but its okay because I'm a sappy hopeless nerd so its expected. :D

I really wished you continue the story_ but I'm also happy with the ending. Keep it up!

I started reading this story a long time ago. And until today, by a happy accident, I stumbled across this story. It's so hard to convey how much of an impact this story has made on me. I am overweight, just as Shelly is, and she is relatable and someone you can't help but like. I haven't done any reviewing in a long time because I am rarely on FP, but I wanted to pass along my thoughts. I really like how you handled the Shelly/Matt friendship situation, and how Shelly's sister wasn't jealous and mean to her because she hung out with Matt so much. I also like how Jake came across as indifferent, but you learn that's clearly not the case. I like how Shelly is a resilient character who is clearly far from perfect, but learns from her mistakes. It's empowering to see her take control when people mess with her - whether it's about her weight or something as trivial. I really enjoyed reading this. :)

I do wish it hadn't ended abruptly. I was hoping we'd see Shelly finally find someone. I guess ruling out the obvious choices would be Matt and Manny. I'll make a crazy guess...what about that Darrin guy? Because he's mute or doesn't talk or whatnot, it would be interesting to see what's going on with him. I wasn't a big fan of Carson to be honest, and deep down, I have to admit that I really like the idea of Shelly and Matt as a couple. Either way, can't wait to read the sequel.

okay so I have a slight confession to make - this epilogue actually bought tears to my eyes. It was fantastic.

This chapter is beautiful! I loved it. it's so sad, but so real on so many different levels. You did a superb job on it.

Reading that author note however, I feel sad since i know in my inbox is the notification for the next two chapters. I love this story, its so different and so much more real than a lot of things on this site. Its sad to know it almost over.

this is an amazing story, she really grew up and you could feel it through.

and for once the prince charming isn't who you expect it to be. and its bittersweet ending.
