Reviews for seasonal skidmarks
simpleplan13 chapter 1 . 11/22/2008
I like the seasons and stoplight/driving comparison. That was very unique and it fit really well. I also really loved that last line. It was very poetic. I could almost see them being blown away. Nice job.

Dreamy, gorgeous, sad, and thoughtful. I love the second and third stanzas especially. Beautiful. Thanks again for your review :)

Manuel Fajar chapter 1 . 10/26/2008
So many directions that your words can take the reader, for they are rich in texture and metaphors. m

Every day new celebrations brings

Though in meanings not yet realized

For when wasp or bee or ant jaws sting

Care we little for their symmetry.

Yet ensconced in every instance small

Like sharp tiny grains of sand in shells

Irritating to form smoothest pearls

Valued treasures soul might recognize.

For one stalk of grass bent in a field

Bears seed crown of possibilities

Just like one small planet round a sun

In her bosom carries all our souls.
