Now I am thinking that Elise doesn't want Natalie. It is all her parents doing. Once they found out about the her, they decided that they would raise her - because no one else could do the job as well - not because they want to make it up to Elise for the way they treated her.

Since they have plenty of money - it can't be that unless they are really greedy.

Oh my god! This chapter makes me soo effin' mad! I'm so p*ssed! Stupid man! Who the hell does he think he is? They've grown attached in a short time... they'd like to raise her? WTF? She isn't a little puppy they found in the backyard! They don't get to say, "Mommy can we keep it?"! She has a family that they tore her away from!

I hate these Whitley's. They sound so mean and selfish. But maybe they're not. Maybe they really DO want to do the right thing...but i doubt it. I feel so sorry for Cass right now. She must be suffering so much. But at least RJ can go see Nat. I'm looking forward to that reunion. I'm also hoping we'll get to meet Elise, so i can hate her properly.

I think i'd probably like any of the possible stories you listed in your A/N, but i love all these characters so much. Matt and Greta would be interesting, considering what brought them together in the first place, and i always loved Matt anyway. But the different take on 'Doing Whatever It Takes' would be cool too. I dunno. Your choice of course, but be sure to choose something you feel something for. There's no point telling a story that you don't have passion for, because the readers won't either.
