so what happens after that? what's Daphne's reaction? what happens to Adena and Damien? I was looking forward to the Epilogue but it felt sort of incomplete. I think you should re-write it :)

Wow, a lot happened in this chapter... Poor Tory, losing her mother and father so close together. Then Rochester, glad he's out of the picture.

You know, I like this story a lot. I was almost going to skip it cause of the lack of reviews, but your language and style is very nice. I like Adena a lot...I really get sick of those selfish, Mary-sue, daughter of nobiility with a bad attitude (though considered "tomboys") protagonists...do you know what I'm talking about? Adena has that in her too, but she isn't flamboyant about it and she doesn't shrink from her duty. I KNOW that's actually the crux of the matter, but, still, the fact that she realizes the world does not revolve around her is refreshing. I'm always looking for stories like these...thanks for making my day!

Adena is really brave for a woman who seem so quiet. I really like her character very much. She also upholds her values very well. And Damien worried about her. ;D That's progress!
