Oh my goodness! That was adorable. It had everything! The perfect amount of romance, action and mystery. loved it!

This was a phenomenal story! Your characterization is brilliant! I adore all of Olivia's quips! You did an outstanding job at building the romantic tension between Lan and Olivia! I love the balance of action, comedy, and romance! Few writers can achieve such perfection! But, above all, it's your diction that shines! Your writing is completely engulfing from start to finish! Thank you for letting me escape my hectic life for a few hours! I pray that you write a sequel to this because I NEED more of these characters, but ultimately, I beg you to keep writing because quite frankly...I would read your grocery lists. :)

I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading your story. Your writing style isn't particularly unique but it's decent. It's seems like you have a good plot, or at least it seems like you do, but something is stopping me from really enjoying this story. Your main character. I love a strong female lead, that don't take crap. However, in this case it just falls flat. It almost appears like you just threw all characteristics you thought a strong lead should have. No, just no. She complains about Lan being cocky, even though she is more cocky than him. Personally, I feel that she is really stupid too. I get it. Her brother was killed by vampires. Still, it's just weird that that she doesn't question if what she does is right. If vampires actually deserve to be killed. I mean the vampires that kills people probably deserve it. Nonetheless, she meets just as an example Asher. The only valid reason she has to kill this vampire is that vampires are all evil. It annoys me have much she complain about vampires and Lan. She attacked him. Of course, he was going to defend himself. For some reason her brain can't comprehend it. What did she think, that he was just going to let her kill him? She wants to kill the McRae's so badly, even though they haven't done a shit to her. I mean they could have killed her easily, and still she keeps talking about how badass she think she is. She trust shapeshifters, and she don't know a shit about them. Why didn't she tell someone? What the fuck goes through this girls brain? She always come with these stupid comments when she fights, and the truth is that the vampires kicks her ass. She's so annoying. She complains about things that are her fault. She is cocky, conceited and just all around stupid. Good job with provoking such a response out of me for a character though.

Wait, who is Toby and who is Troy? They are confusing, are they the same person?

This was the first thing I looked up.. thank god its still here, although i think you should take it down someday and try to do something with it. The vampire fad is fading, but you this could add the twist to not bring it back, but start your own era! enforcers soon please? i see you haven't updated in a while, but maybe a chapter soon?(:

That was a very nice story. I usually stay away from anything that has vampires in it ever since the whole Twilight trend. It kind of disgusted me from anything vampire related. But I sure enjoyed reading your story. It was interesting, and I was taken in pretty quickly.

Whoa . . . I LOVE this. The action, the kick-ass heroine, the amazing mushy parts . . . what ISN'T to love? Olivia was absolutely awesome, not wimpy and oh-save-me like most heroines. I laughed at a few parts too, especially when I found out Lan's name was acutally ALAN. Props to you for renovating an old fanfic - I can pick up traces of LJ Smith in there but not enough to merit it as a fanfic. I gotta go check out your profile now . . . oh, and by the way, I noticed something that had me dead convinced that Carl was evil for the LONGEST time! Once I noticed that Olivia's name is Carlsbad, I thought, AHA! A hint! Carl's bad, eh? When it turns out he ISN'T, I was like, damn, what a mindfuck! Then I laughed at how stupid I had been.

Needless to say, I'd love a sequel.

That whole story was freakin' epic.

I totally believed Lan turned on her, and then when she found out he didn't...and, well the battle scenes practically took my breath away.

I also love Olivia. (Not just because she has my name, but that totally helps.) She's so spunky, brave, and loyal. Extremely likeable.

I like how you gave her a back story instead of just thrusting her into the world of vamps randomly. (Like a certain series I'd rather not mention. *coughs pointedly.)

I also really like Lan. He's such a hot, broody, kinda sexy vamp. I love how his personality changes throughout the whole by Olivia. I also like how it's not a few chapter and BAM! Also, how he's still kinda broody at the end. That's cool because in some YA the guy who is like Lan usually has a complete personality revamp. :D

Anyway, this story was fantastic, and I wish you luck in further writing endeavours (sp?). :)

To put it simply, this story was awesome! This was definitely not what I expected to be reading when I clicked on it, but then suddenly I had been sucked into the story. I still can't believe its over! :)

I must say that you had the whole shabang. Exposition, rising action, climax, faling action, and resolution. I havent read many stories that had everything. Perfectly done!

I'm sorry I'd have stopped and reviewed every single chapter along the way if possible (because dear god, you deserve them gal!) but for once, i found myself way too immersed in this vampire story that i grew to love along the way :)

One of the best vampire stories I've read here :)

I loved all your characters. Yes, even "headstrong" little Raina. Half-way through reading this, when Olivia was fighting those six vampires out in Chicago (before Lan saved her) I couldn't help but compare her to Buffy, the vampire slayer. (Sorry Buffy! You rule in your own right).

Such a fierce strong female lead. That's so refreshing to read when the majority of stories on here reflect females as "damsels in distress" or "very weak compared to their male counterparts who constantly protect them".

If there's a sequel, I will only be too happy to immerse myself in Olivia and Lan's world :)
