Reviews for Fugue for Water and Telephone
SaraMaxine chapter 1 . 9/21/2010
Great writing, but I'm lost!

It makes me think of those 2 page reading assignment in surrvey classes that you think will be so easy, but then you're left discussing for over an hour.

Kind of feeling Romantic poetry.

Did you read The Sick Rose by Blake before writing this by any chance?

Oh, idea!

Have you considered writing something like Songs of Innocence and Expirience?

A story that makes complete sense when told by opposing sides.

Just a thought!

I'm not sure what I think about this. Gabriel is a gripping character and I felt what he felt. When the mist surrounded him my heart speed in worry. Then I scrolled down and realized I was almost at the end, which came too soon, but also in the exact right place.

I promised myself before I started reading this that I wouldn't use the words "lyrical", "Beautiful", "poetic", "haunting" or anything like that, but it's like trying to describe anItalian supercar without using the words "power" and "soul".

Utterly incredible: beautiful, lyrical, poetic, haunting; all those things and many, many more.
