![]() ![]() ![]() I just read this and it put a smile on my face. I loved it :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Kind of a pointless story |
![]() ![]() ![]() I remember reading this story when it was first published and I read it again to put me in the Christmas spirit when I come across it 'round this time of year. I'm reviewing this time though because I am honestly shocked there aren't more reviews for this story. It's well written, the characters are interesting, the story is cute, and it's the holidays (!) with snow! I mean, come on, people, do you need a big huge kick in the butt to tell you to review and give kudos where it's due?! Eruptingfender9, congrats to you for always being a wonderful writer on this site. I remember when I first came across your stories years ago, they were a breath of fresh air from some other things that get posted on here. Happy Thanksgiving! :) Elliebit |
![]() ![]() ![]() A cute story. Poor guy will have to watch out for her temper though. He might think that it is cute, but hospital visits get spendy. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi! I'm here to share some news: This story has been added to the One-Shot category over on A Drop of Romeo! Here's your review: Morgan Walsh loves celebrating Christmas at home. She enjoys decorating the tree and having her relatives flock to her home. She loves putting on her favorite Christmas music and not having to go back home in the freezing weather by the end of the celebration. Therefore, it’d be smart to assume that’s she’s pretty angry when she finds out that she has to spend Christmas over at her father’s place. However Christmas could never end up being disappointing. As a matter of fact, Morgan’s Christmas ends up being quite special when she has to spend it with Eric, a boy she used to play with when she was younger. Despite being quite predictable as a story, Erupting Fender still managed to make it extremely enjoyable to read. It flowed well and the characters were realistic and likeable. It’s an extremely short read (only three chapters) but I think the pacing was still perfect enough for the interaction between Morgan and Eric to develop. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awe! Cute! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Totally loved this story :) The characters were real, the plot was believable, and you refrained from a cheesy ending despite the fact that it was a happy one. Can't say I didn't see Eric's delayed official introduction with Morgan coming, but nonetheless this was a super cute story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Cute but they didn't end up getting together together :( But I guess that might've ruined it. Thanks for writing |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very cute! xx Ali |
![]() ![]() Very sweet story. I loved it. Although I wish she could've said a few things too - like "I'm sorry I hit you" and "I felt bad for yelling at you earlier" and stuff. Oh well. Good work! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know it's June, but I decided to reread it.. and it made me so, so happy. Again. I love Christmassy feelings anytime of the year, and it was just great. I love that you've written a story about childhood enemies, but I especially love that you've defied the cliche and made them grow up BEFORE they got out of high school. SO refreshing! I love it. :) |
