So Zoey's a vampire? Oh ho ho... Poor Wynn just doesn't catch a break does she? Haha. At least she didn't freak out as much as she did with Tristan.

As for poor Tristan, I was rooting for him. The insight from his portion of the chapter is quite interesting, and raises my curiosity about the the family hierarchy.

"he could not – and would not – get to her" Due to the collar? He seems to escape that quite easily.

"She sat down in a chair next to Wynn and opened the book" Why did Zoey open the book? To seal off the noise in the room as she later mentioned?

Zoey's explanation made sense; easy to understand as well.

"they are either one or he other if one parent is not like the other" I don't like the "if one parent is not like the other," it feels really awkward to me. Maybe, "if the parents are different"?

Did Zoey know Tristan was coming?

"Don’t worry – he won’t hurt you.” LOL, like that's going to reassure her.

And poor Tristan. He finally gets to her, literally coraking, and she runs. Not that there's anywhere to run to since Zoey locked the door though. On the bright side, they'll probably have a a nice heart-to-heart chat next chapter. XD Awesome chapter as always

Great chapter. I truly thought it was Tristan who walked through the door but he in fact used a hidden one. Also never expected Zoey to be a vampire. I keep assuming that this story will be those cliche vampire fics but it isn't and I love that. It's nice to read something unpredictable like this.

OMG. This story is freakin amazing. I feel so bad for Tristan. I hope that whoever open those doors is either Tristan or someone sent to knock some sense into Wynn.

One thing I absolutely love about your story is that you have Wynn having a different reaction than normal vampiresc-romance novels. She's afraid but chooses NOT to stick around... *for now anyways lol*... All the stories I read so far (and I have read MANY since I am a HUGE fan) the woman is always scared yet curious and accepting right away... I've always wondered what would happen if they didn't. Guess you beat me to the punch LOL. But thanks for it! It's wonderful :)

Wow. This story is really good. I usually don't like supernatural stories but this one has me really hooked! Keep up the good work.

So, I think I need to do some re-reading, because I can only faintly remember Zoey and Bekah. :/ Also for the extent of Wynn's vision impairment.

"“Would you have come if you knew he would be here?” ... would she? She lowered her head with shame. She would have." That last sentence had me a bit confused. Why would she be ashamed if she really would have? It makes more sense for her to be embarrassed if she would not have.

Anyways, lovely chapter. Truth or penalty sounds like fun, though. Haha. Surprised Tristan didn't come up in that conversation.

Thank you for replying to my review as well. I do understand Wynn's actions. They're quite understandable. As a person I agree, as a reader who likes to rot her brain on fluffy fanfiction, my gut reaction to thwarted (although necessary) obstacles to romance is "Gah!"
