I have read chapters one and two. They are very good and well written. The story is an enjoyable read.

One thing about that little dialogue between Shawn and Sara:

Does Shawn have some kind of inferiority complex? Otherwise, there would be no reason for him to be so defensive. He would've known that Sara was joking around, instead of apologizing and thinking he offended her. It could be that either one of them has an inferiority complex; Shawn has it and is convinced that everything he says offends Sara, or Sara has it and is convinced that everything Shawn says is meant to offend her.

Sorry, I tend to really dig into my characters. D

It feels as if I'm reading an actual novel. I'm impressed with your writing technique, it has me constantly asking for more. This story has to be extremely intriguing if all i did for the past 30 minutes is sit here and read all 8 chapters. I can't wait for the next update.

I'm glad Sara keeps her cool while dealing with these notes - makes her stronger and with this, you pushed away the "damnsel-in-distress" syndrome which you can encounter everywhere here, on , with whiny women who begin crying at the first chance and just need a manly comfort. So, I like Sara. :)

The killer is sneaky though; and pushy - he really does want her off the case, and that makes me wander why...hm, I guess we'll found out later, but I'm still impatient. :)

You were fast with updating the story. :) And wow, the killer is fast too, and already warned Sara not to interfere. Didn't expect that, but it sure makes it more intriguing. But lucky her, staying at the Hilton.

It appears to be a promising start. I already like the character, Sara, and I'm curious about this serial killer.

The writing style is pleasant to read, though I think that some more description would be a bit nice, and I hope we'll get to know her character more as well.

Overall, I like the story, and I hope you'll update soon. :)
