Hmmm, I wonder who the "he" is in the conversation between Audrey and her sister? Ex-boyfriend, or Daniel? I don't think she's pregnant; I don't think she'd drink, unless, of course, she's hell-bent on destruction. Either way, I'm hooked!

I love the raindrop imagery. Once again, beautiful comparisons.

I'm almost up to date with this story, and am eager to move on, but I have to get some work done around here, drat it. Hopefully I can read tonight. Great chapter; clears up a lot of my confusion, as well as adding more questions. Clever, aren't you? :D

Another deep chapter, where Audrey and Daniel seem to dance around the fact that they want each other.

It's good they are getting to know each other; I don't think Audrey has done that too much in previous relationships.

I really hope Audrey realizes what a gem Daniel is, and quits teasing him. I don't think she teases on purpose; I think she is afraid to show her true self, but I still hope she eventually sees him as he is.

As usual, a very thought-provoking chapter that keeps you rooting for the two of them to hook up and realize what they do for each other. Great job!

I feel really sorry for Daniel (Matt)but maybe it's for the best. I wonder what's going on with Audrey and why she keeps him at a safe distance.

Alright, I admit I'm a little confused. I feel like I've missed some pieces between chapter 12 and 13. He's seventeen, but in University? I thought he was in high school...

Doesn't really matter. So, she'd been in the hospital since he'd seen her last. Could she have attempted suicide? I'm just a bit unsure of the time table of events.

As always your imagery is beautiful. She's so hot "she is the sun." Great analogy.

I like Daniel's thoughts about his life, and the description of "his words are left behind him swirling in the air. Suffocating her." Great, great!

A roadtrip sounds intriguing for the two of them; but again, I'm not sure if this is before the pole dance, after, or inbetween.

Ohh, the ending is so bittersweet. Poor, poor Daniel. In love with two different people. Audrey the young girl looking for love, and Audrey the depressed stripper.

I love the description of Daniel at the beginning. He sounds like such a hot young guy; no wonder Audrey feels old and used.

The club description is spot-on; the smoke and mirrors, the line about him "...walks through it like a magician has just conjured him." Oh, I just love your power of description! Just...Wow!

The description of Audrey's dance is hot too, without revealing too much. We know he's turned on without being hit over the head with sexual description. Good job.

So I started reading this earlier, and I couldn't stop. I love the way you leave the readers hanging, and I really hope Daniel gets his kiss.

I don't exactly know why, but I feel like I have some kind of connection to this story; which is weird because I can't exactly relate to anything that is happening in the plot... but I don't know, there's this element I understand completely, and yet I can't put my finger on it.

This is the first story I've read on this site (I've just been sticking to for ages) and wow, I'm actually so glad I had the privilege to do so.

I hope you continue this story, I really do.
